Troubleshooting & FAQ

Pump won’t start or runs unevenly:

• 1. Use stable power and check plug, wiring, capacitor, and switch.
• 2. Keep air intake open and connectors tight.
• 3. Operate between 5–40°C; if rotor is rusted, rotate counterclockwise. High temps may need multiple startups.

Pump does not reach expected vacuum:

• 1. Replace dirty oil and keep it near the middle of the sight glass.
• 2. Check all hoses and interfaces for leaks and ensure sealing rings are intact.
• 3. Clean the exhaust valve if needed.

Oil leaking or spraying:
